StoneX - Messaging Hub

StoneX needed a video to promote and explain StoneX Messaging Hub, a software solution for worldwide aid and development organizations. 
My role:
Storyboarding, design, motion graphics, video editing. 
Challenge:
Convey the complexities of a financial services product using motion graphics matched to a voiceover. Further, express the idea that the Messaging Hub was a sophisticated piece of technology. 
Solution:
Starting from a voiceover, I consulted with the financial services stakeholders asking about the product and what visuals they wanted to see. From there I created a storyboard in Figma and with further approval from stakeholders, set out to animate in Adobe After Effects. Some stock icons were used but further animated by me to make it more dynamic. A solid orchestral soundtrack was added at final edit. As a result, what could have been a very dry description of financial services became something watchable and a lot more engaging. 
Forex.Com - Holiday Greetings
2022
Forex.com Canada wanted a visual holiday greeting to send out to clients while also promoting their 10 year anniversary and achievements during the year. 
My role:
Storyboarding, design, motion graphics, video editing. 
Challenge:
Create a quick 30-second animation to get a lot of information out quickly, without using a voice-over, and give it a holiday greeting.
Solution:
A script was completed by copywriters and approved by compliance, so I just had to get visuals to match it all. Time was a factor, so many stock vector assets were used, and I created a storyboard in Figma to convey the process to the stakeholders. With some cheery holiday music, some festive animations, and an icon palette that already had green and red in it, the holiday part was conveyed pretty easily. All that was left was to include stock of the app and create dynamic text and visuals to match the copy. In the end we had a quick and snappy animation that promoted the company while conveying holiday greetings. 
INTL FCStone - Global Markets Outlook
2020
INTL FCStone wanted to promote their large Global Markets Outlook event, bringing together financial experts at a Florida resort. 
My role:
Design, video editing, motion graphics, sound editing.
Challenge:
Create an engaging video to get business professionals to attend this yearly event promoting their “four quadrant” focus. The idea was that a professional could attend seminars and workshops that best suited their particular financial interests, and were some of the company’s strengths with SMEs.  
Solution:
I worked closely with the Global Head of Marketing on this, since it was an important event. The “four quadrants” was something already present in the print assets, so I utilized the four colors and design cues from them as a starting point. From there, I hit on the lines “flowing” through the project to show what “paths” people could go on while attending. I further had the voice over complimented with matching solid colors and kinetic text. I did all the animations in After Effects. I further added in stock footage recorded at prior company events and put it all together in Premiere. In the end we had a very dynamic-looking, color-themed commercial to promote this high-profile services event.
